The Plot Twist: Guidance, Not Chaos
People say interning at an agency is full of pressure and burnout. Then I felt it myself and realized… the journey at ToffeeDev actually came with a lot of guidance.
Hi, I am Awan, a graduate of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting from the Institute of Quranic Sciences. I joined ToffeeDev as a Content Intern in November 2023.
At first I was afraid the agency pace would be too fast, the pressure too high, and interns left alone. The plot twist: as an intern I was guided a lot and never had to learn entirely by myself.
What the Internship Actually Taught Me
As an intern I learned that work means:
1. Bigger pressure and responsibility
2. Client revisions are real
3. Mistakes are part of learning
I once felt down after a major client revision. From that I learned not to keep problems to myself, to discuss with seniors, and to look for solutions.
From Content Intern to Local Seo Specialist
Career path: Content → On-Page → Local SEO Specialist. What grew most: mapping content direction, learning strategy and technical skills, and problem solving on real projects.
From intern to choosing full-time because growth opportunities were wide: I was not left alone, the team always supported me, and there was room to learn new things.
Key Takeaway
The path from intern to full-time is like climbing a mountain. The higher you go, the bigger the challenges. But that is how I learned to keep growing and not fear trying new things.
